Job Summary

The Dishwasher creates a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring that all plates, glassware and silverware are properly cleaned and sanitized.

This person works within a team to ensure that these items are stocked throughout the shift in a timely manner. Additionally, the dishwasher performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, and ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with all front of house and back of house to effectively keep plates, silverware, and glassware clean and stocked
• Opening and closing of restaurant including setup of dish station and mopping and polishing all floors
• Keeps all trash and disposables emptied and clean at all times
• Manages in house chemical station to ensure proper storage and use of cleaning materials
• Follows all federal, state and local laws, codes, and regulations outlined by management and the Employee Handbook

• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Follow through with all assigned tasks and be flexible to accommodate quickly to newly assigned duties, including duties which may include other So Hospitality Group brands
• Ability to follow verbal directions
• Ability to work in elevated temperatures and a wet environment
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Required Qualifications

• 16 years or older
• Restaurant kitchen experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation
